Shop America Alliance LLC (SAA) and the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) have announced plans for the fourth annual Shop The World Tourism Conference: Canada at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre on Monday, September 22, 2014 from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM. The conference is co-sponsored by Tourism Toronto.
This executive level educational and networking program is designed for retail, shopping center and tourism professionals who want to develop strategies to attract international and domestic tourists to their shopping centres, outlets and retail districts. Students and travel trade are also invited to attend at a special 2 for 1 registration fee.
The Shop The World Tourism Conference: Canada faculty features leading online, retail, outlet and tourism experts and tourism leaders with great success stories to share. Presenters include Art Jimenez, Senior Director of Leisure Sales, Las Vegas CVA/Shop Las Vegas; Lisa Wagner, Principal, Avison Young; Ann Ackerman, Vice President Outlet Marketing, Macerich; Rosemary McCormick, President, Shop America Alliance; Ben Hanuka, Principal, Law Works and Susan Sweeney, Principal of SusanSweeney.com. A reception hosted by ICSC will follow the program in conjunction with ICSC’s Canadian Conference.
Invited participants include retail and shopping center developers, owners, leasing specialists, marketing and management professionals, travel and tourism leaders, destination marketers, hotel and tour operators, airline and transportation providers, credit card companies, publications, and travel partners.
