Hosted by the National Council of Attractions  Google Travel has joined U.S. Travel and the National Council of Attractions (NCA) as a partner for NCA Day on Tuesday, February 5 at the ONE Travel Conference at the Westin South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa, California.

Google will present the Google Learning Lab, “SoLoMo—Social, Local, Mobile”.  The workshop, will include informational and interactive sessions on the latest consumer trends and user behaviors, and how to engage in these new contexts with digital marketing. The program is designed to give attendees the tools needed to increase business through non-traditional channels.  The term SoLoMo has been around since 2011 and has been largely thought of as the convergence of social, local and mobile; but SoLoMo isn’t a channel, it is the recognition of today's constantly connected consumer. Google will share the latest consumer trends as it relates to travel and local attractions, and how to use digital marketing to engage in these new contexts. The learning lab is designed to provide the tools to reach consumers where they are.  It is available to all ONE Travel Conference registrants.

Roger Dow, CEO, U.S. Travel Association, Caroline Beteta, CEO, Visit California and chair of Brand USA and Julie Heizer, the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Office of Travel & Tourism will be the keynote speakers at the ONE conference. They will be joined by more than 20 expert presenters for executive level idea exchange and partnership development. The conference will also present the SASI-ONE Awards for innovative marketing, sponsored by CenterCal Properties. Shop America Alliance and the U.S. Cultural & Heritage Tourism Marketing Council are the co-producers of the 2013 ONE Travel Conference for Shopping, Dining and Cultural Tourism being held at the Westin South Coast Plaza, February 5-7, 2013. The conference is presented in partnership with Visit California and South Coast Plaza The 2013 conference theme is "Global Tourism Success."

With the launch of Brand USA marketing charged with increasing international inbound travel to the US, the conference will focus on new global opportunities for tourism development and growth for the travel industry. Registration is open at with the program, sponsorship opportunities and special hotel rates.  ONE Travel Conference delegate fee is $695 per person, subject to availability.  If more than one additional delegate from the same company or organization registers to attend the conference by January 4, 2013, they each will save $100 on their registration fee.
