    • DIALOG IN THE DARK is now open at the South Street Seaport Exhibition Centre!  DIALOG IN THE DARK will lead visitors through a series of NYC environments, highlighted by city-centric scents, sounds, temperatures, and textures, in complete darkness.  Relying on blind and visually impaired guides, exhibit-goers will "see NYC."
    • Little Airplane Productions on Front Street produces quality children's television programming, such as "The Wonder Pets!" and "The Small Potatoes."  They offer The Small Potatoes Animation Factory Tour, a family- friendly guided tour of their state-of-the-art animation studio.  Tours run weekdays at 11AM and 4PM.  Please call 212-965-8999 for reservations or visit for more information.
    • The Seaport is home to Bodies, The Exhibition at 11 Fulton Street.  The exhibition showcases 22 whole-body specimens and more than 250 organs and partial body specimens tastefully displayed across several galleries.  Fore more information, visit
    • The Seaport today is best known as a bustling retail center, but was a thriving port in the early days.  The new "Sails to Sales" walking tour takes visitors through the old streets, bars and taverns, shops, houses and ships that made the South Street Seaport area a gateway to the world.  The 90-minute tour, operated by Uncle Sam's New York, is given on Saturdays at 11AM by reservation only.  Tours can be booked online at or by phone at 212-888-8769.


    • During the summer, there is a live entertainment schedule.  Visit for activities.
    • New York Water Taxi and Circle Line Downtown at Pier 17 offer the most diverse selection of cruises of any company in New York City.  Tours leave daily out of the South Street Seaport, Pier 16 and Pier 17.  For opening days/times log onto  See you onboard!
    • Beekman Beer Garden Beach Club is downtown Manhattan's premiere spot for outdoor dining, drinking and leisure.  Drop in for a game of foosball, ping pong or billiards or just come sink your toes in the sand.
    • NY's largest sailing boat, the Clipper City, is still in commercial operation today and is docked at The Seaport...158 feet long, with masts rising 120 feet off the deck.  With statue cruises, twilight tours, harbor lights sails and private parties, The Clipper City offers the opportunity to ride aboard an awe-inpiring ship in the NYC harbor.  For more information log onto
